William Newman is a talented artist living in Washington, DC, best known for his large-scale public murals. Newman has exhibited widely in national and international group exhibitions and locally in group and solo shows. With this website we hope to give you a window into his creative studio work.
Publications about the artist and illustrations of his work have appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle and Time Magazine, etc., and all the national networks such as NBC, CBS, ABC, plus other networks such as National Geographic and Tech TV just to name a few. Artist William Newman graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with a B.F.A., and received his M.F.A. from University of Maryland.
